When I first got Jules she was very tiny, only about 9 lbs at over 2 months of age. It took a very long car ride to get Julep and Maddy (Julep ended up riding on my lap for the last 3 or 4hrs of the drive), but I'm starting to think it was worth it. She started out as a bit of an ugly duckling, but now that its summer and she's over a year old, she's lost some baby fat, gained some length of body, and a whole lot of dairy character. Judging from her lovely half sisters at Pholia Farm, I have high hopes for this little girls udder. Julep's main fault right now is that she does toe out a little in the back. Hopefully she will carry on her trend of improving with age in that category. Besides conformation, Jules is a VERY sweet doe who likes to have your attention at all times, at gets very jealous if you pay to much attention to anyone else. Ahhh bottle babies*sigh*. She also seems convinced that she is my favorite goat, something I refuse to either confirm or deny.
