EDITH
Call name: Eddie
Birth date: 4-27-07
From: 1 doe, 1 buck.
Color: Light tan with moonspots
Registration: ADGA
LA: 84
Eddie, as I called her, was the sweetest goat on earth...except if your a dog, cat, or even a chicken, to which she displayed un-goat like aggression. Our dogs developed a wise phobia of her and stayed well away from her mouth. (and,
yes, she didn't head but the other animals, she bit them.) As soon as i got Eddie, she was my favorite doe. Always sweet, funny and mischievous. And her pedigree was excellent! I couldn't WAIT to see her kids! I had bought her bred to Pholia Farm CA Mr. Incredible, curtesy of Pholia Farms. She kidded with triplets, two boys and a GIRL!!!! The same night she got very sick with blue bag mastitis. We gave her all kinds of medicine, then called the vet, who said she would either live or die. Two days later she did die. I was devastated, Eddie was my favorite, my baby and i'd only had her for five WAY to short months! I bottle raised the kids but a week later the doeling who I'd named Twisted Vines My Calista (meaning full of beauty), died from a tragic accident. I kept the two little boys and kept one, Twisted Vines Incredible Finn a buck and the other Teddy Bear as my little pack wether. Edith had a lot of length of body and was a good milker with nice udder devision. Her Finn is looking really great!
We miss Eddie very much, and hope you enjoyed her page!
